Each blanket is vacuum sealed in plastic wrapping to protect it during shipping.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS: These blankets are safe to wash and dry in your home machine! Simply wash separately with cold water on a delicate cycle and tumble dry with low heat. If fingers or toes should pull the yarn, follow the yarn strand through the crochet stitch and space it out again. The yarn will never entirely pull out of the blanket unless the yarn is ripped due to excessive pulling.
